D.Art Project is a new local organization supporting the visual arts in Albany schools. Here is information about an upcoming event this weekend.
Please join us on June 4th from 5-8pm to celebrate the visual arts in Albany Schools! Fun for ALL ages
Robert Claghorn Gallery at 1251 Solano Ave will be hosting our first party! There will be food, music and art activities for all ages! The entrance to the event is FREE but we will be asking small donations ($1-5) to participate in some of the art activities. AHS Advanced Placement students will be showing their work in the gallery.
About D.art project:
D.Art project is a fundraising organization dedicated to visual art education in Albany schools. Albany is home to many artists, artisans, architects, and other creative professionals. Our goal is to allow our children to discover the thrill of creating and making visual arts as a integral part of their education.
Driven by donations, D.Art Project consists of parents, teachers, and community leaders. The fund will help pay for art supplies, events, field trips, and other costs related to visual art programs at all levels in our school district.
