Funding Albany Schools! Get Involved with Measures B and E! Our local Albany schools are among the top performing in the state, and we’re fortunate to have a community that places a high value on education. But as you’ve probably heard, our school buildings require critical updates to address seismic safety and overcrowding, as well as to update facilities to meet modern learning standards. A pair of bond measures, Measures B and E, will be on the June 7, 2016 ballot to address these vital needs. A volunteer-led committee is now being formed to campaign for these measures. Volunteers are needed! If you are interested in helping to make sure these measures pass this June, join us on Wednesday, March 30 at 7pm for an informational meeting at 844 Washington Ave. Please contact Holly White at hollywhite@yahoo.com with any questions.
